In
Portugal when you greet someone you give one or two kisses on the chicks. You do it to
your parents, family, friends and even strangers. We like to kiss! It breaks the ice and makes us feel
welcoming. Apparently
it is not the same with the Nordic countries. The greeting time can be a moment
of tension. “Should I kiss, should I hug or simply give a strong handshake?” In Sweden it works
like this:When you greet someone for the very first time you give a handshake.
After a few moments of empathy, small talks and FIKAS the hug starts being use . And what
about the kisses? It is not very usual around here. It is funny to think that
even the simple action of greeting can be so peculiar and different around the world.
